Coach Taylor has put together this informational site to assist his young football players during the learning process. Remember it is supposed to be both fun and educational.
During the first few weeks of August, every year football teams around the league and all over the country prepare for their up coming football seasons by conditioning. This is done with a combination of drills and normal exercise. It has been known to cause great discomfort to some players but is completely normal and acceptable. Coach Taylor lives in Sterling Heights, Michigan and is the Head Coach of the Henry Ford II High School JV Football team for the fall 2011 season. Coach Taylor served as Defensive Coordinator in 2010 and also was the Freshman Head Coach for the Sterling Heights Redskins. He has coached Freshman, Junior Varsity and at the Varsity level, including Varsity Head Coach in 2003 & Junior Varsity Head Coach during past seasons 2007-2009. In 2004 Coach Taylor was a Freshman coach for St Lawrence Catholic School and was promoted the next year to Junior Varsity Head Coach in 2005 for St Lawrence Catholic school in Utica, Michigan. Besides all of his other duties Coach Taylor has also volunteered his time to Utica schools as an assistant football coach for Bemis Junior High. The team during his 5 seasons 2004-2008 had a record of 27 wins and 3 losses and back to back undefeated seasons in 2005,2006 & again in 2008. As of January 20th, 2010 Coach Taylor was added to the Henry Ford II High School Coaching staff and was the JV Defensive Coordinator in 2010. For the 2011 season Coach Taylor has been named as Head Coach of the Henry Ford II JV squad. Go Falcons!.

Also an overview of our defensive scheme which is considered very aggressive and is comparable to the college level but will also be very exciting and rewarding for the players.
